variable size site specific installation
Ink Tide engages urgent questions around climate change, progress, and human responsibility. River rocks are wrapped to create paper forms gradually saturated with text inspired by a New York Times headline: “Can We ENGINEER PROTEST LEGISLATE Our Way Out of the Climate Crisis?” The layered language transforms the objects into vehicles for information, inviting viewers to consider how narratives shape perception and action. By merging natural material with printed language, the work prompts reflection on the stories we tell about the future and our role in shaping it.
